Electrical Maintenance Supervisor II


Position Purpose & Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the asset health of all plant electrical and controls systems. The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor leads an electrical team and is responsible for the training and development of the team. This position will also lead and coordinate the activies of electrical contractors. This position performs and assists with new installations of electrical power and controls, performs modifications to existing electrical systems and assists with planning and implementation of future work and electrical warehousing. Principal Accountabilities
40% Manage plant electrical and automation maintenance programs. Includes direct supervision of plant
electricians, electrical planning and Computer Managed Maintenance System (CMMS) control
20% Multi-craft job duties- assist mechanical supervisor job duties
15% Troubleshooting and resolution of plant electrical and control problems
15%Manage plant electrical projects and improvements, including supervision of electrical contractors
10% Additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications
  • 2 year Associates Degree or higher in electrical field OR 2 years industrial electrical and supervisory experience
  • 2 or more years experience in industiral electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
  • 2 or more years experience in supervision of electrical work
  • Ability to provide rotational weekend leadership support
Preferred Qualifications
  • Modicon and Wonderware programming experience
  • Working knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies
  • Working knowledge of plant primary power systems
  • Experience managing communications networks
  • Mechanical aptitude

  • Lead in house electrical team
  • Lead and coordinate electrical contractor activities
  • Elevator maintenance and repairs
  • Controls maintenance, modifications and repairs
  • Programming maintenance, modifications and repairs
  • Site electrical projects.
  • Training and development of inhouse electrical team.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
