Production Lead

Provide direction and guidance to Operators in their safe and efficient operation of the Fortier Facility; be available as a resource to Operators in their routine activities and their development. Measure and monitor operations to assess performance versus defined expectations and ensure that corrective measures are planned and executed to resolve deviations from plan. Coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering to ensure the timely and efficient planning and execution of routine maintenance, turn-around maintenance, and process improvement.



RESPONSIBILITIES


?Ensure that quality products are efficiently and reliably produced via safe and environmentally responsible operations as measured by defined KPIs.


?Support employee performance and development through clear direction, thoughtful coaching, and appropriate feedback.


?Actively engage in both the day-to-day operation of the plant and efforts directed at the plant?s future and improvement.


?Works directly with Operators to establish and execute routine production plans and keep Operators informed as to plant needs and plans.


?Closely coordinates with Day Role Production Resources and Operations Management to ensure the proper planning and execution of the Safety/Schedule, Quality Management, Engineering Service, and Training functions.


?Closely coordinates with Maintenance/Engineering to define and execute near-term maintenance needs, planning of turn-around needs, and identifying and developing process improvements.


?Closely coordinates with other functions to ensure operational needs are defined and resourced.


?With guidance from Operations Management and Engineering, define and execute, via direction and guidance to Operators, the routine operational plan for the plant.


?In cooperation with Operations and Maintenance colleagues, establish the prioritization of Maintenance resources.


?Define the work plan for Operators, and define their individual development needs and provide support and guidance accordingly.



?Min. Education level: High School Diploma or equivalent; Process Technologies education preferred


?Minimum years in employment: 5 years (process industries experience preferred)


?Preferred industry experience: Operational background


?Familiarity in working with the parameters defined in a Collective Bargaining Agreement and unionized workforce.


?Knowledge and understanding of the production units and processes with respect to both chemistry and process technology. Familiarity with process equipment sufficient to work in close cooperation with Maintenance/Engineering to resolve problems and improve processes.


?Basic knowledge of business processes and tools including ERP systems (e.g., SAP), Maintenance/WO processes, and basic office management tools/applications.


?Strong understanding of occupational safety programs/processes; familiarity with the OSHA Process Safety Management standard and how it is applied.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
