Plans, organizes, and directs work of one or more survey parties engaged in surveying to layout construction sites and check construction and installation work in support of construction and maintenance activities. Researches previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys and develops new data from photogrammetric records. Determines methods and procedures for establishing or reestablishing survey control. Coordinates findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel. Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Requires appropriate license.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
