Responsible for the planning, set-up, and scheduling of all payroll related activities at the project site. Duties include supervising the preparation of all payroll documents, following timekeeping methods in accordance with company administrative and personnel policies and procedures, supervising the maintenance of all payroll records, supervising the maintenance of active and inactive payroll and personnel files, and making recommendations in regard to hiring, terminations, salary adjustments, and training of timekeeping personnel. Typically supervises three or more timekeepers and the preparation of required reports. Requires a minimum of 3 years timekeeping experience, computer experience, and up-to-date knowledge of benefit plans, IRS requirements/regulations, and EEO policies.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
